Es wird einige Veränderung in diesem Blog geben. Ich bin am Wochende der Einladung der Sylter Kunstfreunde e.V. gefolgt und war zu Besuch auf Sylt. Die Sylter Kunstfreunde haben ein Projekt was sich "Inselmaler" nennt und sie haben mich gefragt, ob ich an diesem Projekt teilnehmen möchte, als Inselmaler 2012. Und ich habe zugesagt. Das bedeutet das ich mich mehrmals im kommenden Jahr auf Sylt aufhalten werde, um zu diesem Thema zu arbeiten. Und heute fange ich damit an - mein erstes Seestück.
There will be some change in this blog. Last weekends I was invited by the Sylter Art Association and was on a visit to Sylt. The Sylt Art Association have a project which is called "island painter" and they asked me if I would like to participate in this project as the Island painter 2012. And I said yes. This means that several times in the coming year I'll stay on Sylt, in order to work on this topic. And today I start - my first seascape.

Auch wenn es vielleicht so aussieht, das ist keine Skater-Bahn. Das ist ein Kunstwerk vom Künstler Heini Linkshänder, das vor der Galerie "Altes Rathaus" steht. "Die Welle der Erregung". Wird aber gerne auch von den Worpsweder Skatern benutzt.

Ja, wir haben einen Bootsanleger auf dem Weyerberg. Als Mahnung. Denn sollten wir nichts gegen die globaler Erwärmung unternehmen, wird irgendwann nur noch die Spitze des Weyerbergs von Worpswede aus dem Wasser ragen.
Yes, we have a boat dock on the Weyersberg. As a reminder. Because we don´t do nothing against global warming,  someday only the tip of Weyerberg of Worswede will rise out of the water.

Der Hammestrand ist zwar ziemlich klein, aber einen heißen Sommertag an der Hamme zu verbringen ist fantastisch.

Nein, ich habe das Daily Painting noch nicht aufgegeben. Aber im Moment fehlt einfach die Zeit dafür.

Fingerhut

Ein Fingerhut der sich seinen Weg durch das Pflaster am Worpsweder Rathaus gesucht hat. Ich fand die Farbkombination sehr schön, das Magenta vor den türkisfarbenem Balken.
A foxglove, finding its way through the pavement at the Worpsweder City Hall. I found the color combination is very nice, the magenta in front of the turquoise bar.

Erbsen

Da blogger.com gestern nicht zur Verfügung stand, gibt es das Bild von gestern nun heute.
Erbsenschoten hatte ich schon eine Ewigkeit nicht mehr gekauft. Die Erbsen frisch aus der Schote schmecken immer noch nach Kindheit - so wie damals wenn ich sie im Gemüsebeet meiner Großeltern gepflückt und dort verzehrt habe.

I had not  bought pea pods for an eternity. The peas  fresh from the pod taste still to childhood - just like back then when I picked them in the vegetable patch of my grandparents and 've eaten there.

Knoblauch und Zwiebel

Die "The Paint Your Vegetable" Challenge auf "Daily Paintwork" diese Woche. Da ich schon so viel Gemüse in den letzten 8 Monaten gemalt habe, habe ich diese Challenge genutzt, um es mal in einer anderen Weise zu malen, mit breitem Pinsel und einem Palettenmesser.
