Es ist ja nicht so, dass mir jedes Bild gelingt. Das war heute der dritte Anlauf für dieses Bild und wieder war ich total unzufrieden damit. Am Ende habe ich es mit viel Farbe und dem Malmesser zu diesem Ergebnis gebracht. Aber ich wollte es euch wenigstens zeigen.
It's not that I succeed in each painting. Today was the third attempt for this picture and then I was totally dissatisfied with it. In the end I brought it with lots of color and the palette knife to this result. But I wanted to show you at least.

Dieser Löwenzahn streifte heute meinen Blick beim Gang durchs Dorf. Wie er sich so aus dem Schatten der Mauer vor dem Rathaus der Sonne entgegen streckte.

Magnolienbaum

Heute Früh beim Blumenladen in unserem Dorf. Die Floristen stellt jetzt wieder jeden Morgen ihren Blumen vor den Laden, auch wenn es heute noch ziemlich kalt war.

Wie angekündigt, frisches Grün. Auch wenn wir hier im Norden wieder spät dran sind und erst wenige Baumarten angefangen haben grün zu werden, die Kastanie sah heute wunderschön aus in der Sonne.

Samstags, wenn Wochenmarkt in Worpswede ist und das Wetter es zuläßt, hängen die Worpsweder Künstler Ina, Markus und Thomas Landt ihre Druckgrafiken zum Verkauf an aufgespannte Wäscheleinen. Was an einem so sonnigen Tag wie heute besonders schön ist. Das ist übrigens Thomas bei der Arbeit.

Elefant

Diesen Holz-Elefanten hat mir eine Freundin aus Afrika mitgebracht. Hat mich sehr gefreut, unter anderem weil es ein schönes Motiv ist. Wie ich erfahren habe, soll der erhobene Rüssel Glück bringen.
This wooden elephant has brought me a friend from a trip to Africa. I was very pleased, among other things because it is a nice subject to paint. They have told me, the raised  trunk stands for good luck.

Auf dem Baum direkt vor meinem Atelierfenster rennt ständig ein Eichhörnchen vorbei. Aber bis ich meine Kamera bereit habe ist es ist schon längst wieder weg. Heute aber hat es ins offene Fenster geschaut und so lange posiert, bis ich mein Foto gemacht habe und ist dann wieder seiner Wege gerannt.
On the tree right outside my studio window constantly runs past a squirrel. But until I have my camera ready, it is long  gone. But today it has looked into the open window and  posing so long, till I did my photo and then ran back his way.

Narzisse

Als ich die Narzissen heute Morgen gekauft habe, waren sie noch ganz geschlossen. Beim Malen fingen sie dann an sich mit leichtem Knacken zu öffnen. Frühling macht sich breit.

Erdbeeren

Der Frühling kann mir eigentlich gar nicht schnell genug kommen, aber für Erdbeeren ist es doch zu früh.
Dennoch gibt es sie schon in den Supermärkten. Und Erdbeeren hatte ich noch nicht in meinem Sortiment.
